How to play Sweet Swap
- Swap two sweets next to each other to make three in a row.
- Read the sentence at the top. Each answer wears the colour of a sweet.
- Match the colour of the right answer to earn 3 extra moves.
- Keep going until the moves run out, then beat your best score.
What English it practises
Students read a sentence with a missing word and choose the right form, then have to find that colour on the board. The grammar changes with their grade: am, is and are for the youngest, and passive voice and if-clauses for O/L students.
How it helps with studying
Every match starts with reading a full sentence and thinking about the answer. A student who plays for ten minutes has read many sentences without feeling they were doing an exercise.
