Coconut Sling
Pull, aim and smash the tower with the right word. A quick English game set in a Sri Lankan beach, with one simple action and real English in every move.
How to play Coconut Sling
- Read the sentence at the top.
- Pull the coconut back on the sling, aim, and let go.
- Hit the tower that holds the right word. Crates and crabs go flying!
- Your first shot scores the most. Three misses cost a heart.
What English it practises
Students think about one sentence for as long as they like while they line up the shot, so this is good practice for careful grammar choices across all the tenses.
How it helps with studying
There is no rush here, which suits students who get nervous with timed questions. They get to think, choose, and then enjoy the result.
